Dr. Chau and her staff are professional, highly skilled and compassionate. During my recent appointment, I was given all the information and guidance I needed to make the right decision for me and my dog. I have had dogs and cats for 15 years and horses for longer than that; I have been a client at several veterinary practices and even worked at one for a while. I can recommend Family Veterinary Hospital without reservation as one of the best practices I have encountered. Thank you to Family Veterinary Hospital for your excellent care, very thorough and extremely helpful staff: Chau, her Vet Tech, and front desk manager were not only very thorough with our most recent visit but extremely helpful. Not only did they provide an extensive annual exam they were also very helpful in getting our dogs pet insurance documents faxed to the insurance company. Furthermore, we have experienced pressure sales pitches from other Vets but not here. We received full explanations on everything and all of our options were explained in detail. There was no pressure or tugging of the heart strings to purchase unnecessary treatment or medicine. Dr Chau and her staff are highly recommended!

A Big Thanks!!!! We cannot begin to thank Dr. Chau and the entire staff at Family Vet for taking such wonderful care of our dog” Riley”. Riley is our nine year old yellow lab with a heart of gold. We take Riley to therapy at Family Vet two times a week, and he absolutely loves going there! Each and every visit we are immediately greeted with a big hello from the staff, and Riley just adores this- making him feel so special. If anyone is familiar with labrador’s, you know they love the attention, and this is exactly what he gets! Riley’s visits include anything from water treadmill, acupuncture, laser, therapy, grooming, etc.. and the best thing is -it is all done under one roof! We are so pleased with the progress Riley has made to date with his therapy, thanks to Dr. Chau and her wonderful staff. Each session they work closely with Riley helping him to achieve the maximum improvement he is capable of for that session. They continue to monitor his progress each session and provide us with daily updates-allowing us to determine his ongoing needs/goals. I cannot imagine Riley getting better treatment anywhere else. We are so very blessed to have Riley in our lives, and we feel doubly blessed that we have Family Vet in our lives as well!

My kitty Cali is the Marley of the cat world. We rescued her from an overcrowded home in early July and has brought so much joy and fun to our lives! I chose Family Vet after I watched the promotional video on the website. I liked how she was also very close to my house so it was literally a five minute drive. I took Cali in for her first vet visit two weeks after we got her and was immediately impressed with how nice the reception area was and how friendly Marissa was, the receptionist and one of the techs. Dr. Chau was also very friendly and just had a very nice, relaxed, and sweet demeanor that I felt very comfortable with. Cali was given a clean bill of health and we went home. About a week later, I had to rush her to the vet cuz the little monster got into my birthday flowers, which happened to be stargazer lilies. Most cats die after eating lilies because they don’t exhibit symptoms right away and the first 72 hours are critical. Luckily, I caught her literally moments after she ate them but Dr. Chau and her team pretty much saved Cali’s life. They took so many precautions and were awesome in keeping me updated on her progress. Dr.Chau even told me that she was probably going a bit overboard in the followups because she wasn’t able to save 2 other cats to lilies before, so she wanted to be absolutely certain that Cali was ok. Our little monster is down to 8 lives now, but Cali is officially Dr. Chau’s first lily survivor!

I love this place. The Staff is so warm and friendly and Dr. Chau is the best! She is so helpful and knowledgeable. I love the fact that she has offered me choices in how to care for my pet. Most doctors either want to do surgery or drug your pet, but she has offered me alternative options like acupuncture and herb treatments. I have been bringing my pets to her for a little over a year now and they are thriving. Seeing my pet go through acupuncture has convinced me to do it for myself. I truly see the difference.

Dear Hanh, Thank you so much for the beautiful way you helped Georgie to leave her worn out body on Tuesday. It was so peaceful. We are so grateful. Thank you all at Family Veterinary Hospital for the care of Georgie over the past months. Ashley, Viviene and everyone; we couldn’t have asked for more. Always so professional and patient, courteous and sympathetic. We are truly grateful. So, I finished up my 4 month old min pin’s vaccines there and then I got her spayed 2 months later. They were great! Informative, and caring.I also think it is wonderful that they have so many services available for general wellness as well as rehabilitative services. Finally, being a Chinese medical practitioner myself I was impressed to see that they also offer acupuncture and herbal formulas. I love this! Seeing a vet integrate western and eastern medical therapies was great to see, it really shows that they care about your animals quality of life by providing preventative care that doesn’t always involve some kind of shot or surgery!
I would recommend the Family Vet of Stone Ridge to everyone!
